The reception will probably run until about 6:00 or 7:00 P.M. We will host a combined bachelor/bachelorette party the evening before, for those of you who come into town on Saturday. It will be held at the Metuchen First Aid Squad Hall between 8:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 1. Dress will be casual. Jeans are fine. AccommodationsWe have reserved a block of rooms at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, also in Clark, New Jersey. Rooms are available for the nights of July 1 and July 2 at a wedding rate of $99 per night (plus taxes). The reservations and rates aren't guaranteed unless you reserve by June 10. DirectionsThe Gran Centurions is at 440 Madison Hill Road, Clark NJ 07066 (Google map). The Crowne Plaza Hotel is at 36 Valley Road, Clark NJ 07066 (Google map). Both are easily accessible from exit 135 of the Garden State Parkway. If you are coming by air, Newark International Airport (Google map) is about fifteen miles away to the north. Car rental, shared vans, taxis, and a connection to New Jersey Transit are available at the airport. If you are coming by Amtrak, the Metropark train station (Google map) is about five miles away to the south. If you are coming by commuter rail from New York, you should take New Jersey Transit to the Rahway station (Google map). New Jersey Transit provides schedules in PDF and interactive versions. The Metuchen First Aid Squad Hall is at One Safety Place, Metuchen, NJ 08840 (Google map). It is less than a mile from the Metuchen train station (Google map). Various local companies offer taxicab service in the Clark area. We recommend calling ahead to avoid any last-minute shortages.
